heyo,

I am Rachel Yap, a student studying Interactive Design and Psychology.

I seek teams of passionate and curious people (or should I say, sponges) where we can create lasting and meaningful impact on the world we live in and touch people’s lives with joy.

my roots as a reporter

Telling stories since '16

My passion for design began in my high school newsroom, spotting unread newspapers accumulating in recycling bins. Recognizing the need to captivate readers with the headlines that directly impacted their lives, I pulled up Adobe Photoshop and wove illustrations into the walls of text, revealing hidden meanings. Next month, I noticed newspapers open flat on desks and tucked in backpacks, and fell in love with how design can create impactful change.

I discovered digital design in tech during my time at university, and have been a designer ever since!

our helpful, quiet, loyal sidekicks

I’m emotionally attached to my favorite mugs. Each of them is unique with their own flairs and chips, and I cherish each of them deeply. We typically use mugs to get us going in the morning or to soothe us in the evening. Our mugs become these helpful, quiet, loyal sidekicks.

coming soon
